WesTrac returns to RTS 2023 with Cat machinery display

A major Caterpillar® equipment display will be setup at the 2023 Resources Technology Showcase (RTS) in Perth this April.

RTS 2023 is a family-friendly free exhibition that gives the general public a chance to see the amazing technology and innovation driving the mining, resources, defence and space industries in Western Australia.

WesTrac and Caterpillar will be at booth number 4 with 3D technology and virtual reality stations that put you in the driver’s seat of a large mining truck.

RTS makes its big return to the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre on 2-4 April, from 12 pm to 4 pm on Sunday 2 April and 9 am to 4 pm on both Monday and Tuesday. Entrance to RTS is free but online registration is required.

Just like in 2019 and 2021, WesTrac is on board as an RTS partner for 2023. Two days before the event starts, WesTrac and Caterpillar will have a major Cat equipment display setup close to Perth CBD – on Governors Avenue, next to Supreme Court Gardens.

The display will be open to the public from Friday 31 March through to Tuesday 4 April, from 9 am to 5 pm each day. It will bring some of the world’s biggest and best mining and construction equipment to the city, giving people the chance to get up close to machines usually found working on some of the largest projects in Australia.

Additionally, WesTrac Careers team members will be at the booth and display to answer any questions you have about the machinery, technology solutions and job opportunities at WesTrac. While the display showcases Cat equipment, the main purpose of RTS is to inspire local communities and future generations to explore exciting career options and opportunities in the resources industry.
