Wacker Neuson and Kramer welcomed guests to their stand under the motto “Meet the Future” in the north open-air exhibition area at Bauma 2022.
“Bauma is always an absolute highlight for us. Every three years, the entire international construction equipment industry meets here in Munich – a hometown game for us – and sets the trends for the coming years,” Wacker Neuson Group Chief Sales Officer Alexander Greschner said.
At the Wacker Neuson and Kramer booth, there will be a focus on three main topics:
- Meet Green: The complete zero emission package;
- Meet Innovation: Practical solutions; and
- Meet Connectivity: Real benefits through digitalisation.
Visitors to the “Meet Green” section found out about the zero emission offering, expanded at Bauma to include several machines and services like special zero emission financing offers and solutions for charging infrastructure.
“With our zero emission portfolio, an entire inner-city construction site can now be operated with no local emissions,” Greschner explained. “The next step for us is to provide the entire ecosystem for our customers: from charging infrastructure to services, financing offers and different usage models, to a life cycle approach of the battery.”
In the “Meet Innovation” area, Wacker Neuson and Kramer demonstrated that innovation is part of their DNA. One highlight was the Wacker Neuson EW100 wheeled excavator, which heralds a new era in compact wheeled excavators in terms of safety, thanks to its excellent sightlines and stability. What’s more, the 10 tonne excavator’s powerful drive hydraulics and high basic working capacity enable it to perform tasks that would otherwise require a 14 tonne excavator.

Meanwhile, Kramer presented its full range of all-wheel steering wheel loaders and telescopic loaders and the fully hydraulic “Smart Attach” quickhitch system. With Smart Attach, attachments with hydraulic auxiliary functions, such as a sweeper or folding bucket, can be coupled and uncoupled in seconds without the operator having to leave the cab.
To “Meet Connectivity,” visitors learned how digital solutions bring greater efficiency and transparency to the construction site. For example, Wacker Neuson’s ConcreTec assistance system for concrete consolidation enables concrete components to be compacted easily, transparently and in high quality, then reproduced.
