More than 700 construction, engineering and geospatial professionals from the Asia Pacific region convened in Brisbane recently to connect with industry leaders and peers, attend expert-led educational sessions and participate in product and software demonstrations during the inaugural Trimble Dimensions Australia User Conference.
The two-day event included 73 sessions – eligible for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points for NSW and Victorian Surveyors – focused on hardware and software optimisation, connected construction, AI advancements, machine control, surveying and mapping. The Dimensions Australia User Conference is based on the long-running and popular Trimble Dimensions User Conference, held annually in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.
Trimble vice president of marketing Cody Coopeer said that given the proven value of Trimble Dimensions in Las Vegas, recreating it in Australia provided a great opportunity to connect and share learnings with customers, colleagues and business partners in the Asia Pacific region.
“Bringing industry professionals, partners and innovators together creates new connections, advances new ideas and enables users to further optimise Trimble technology solutions,” he said.
Over the two days, attendees explored the forefront of construction technology through live Trimble demonstrations – including sessions led by industry experts offering practical insights into how technology can enhance safety, efficiency and profitability across contracting businesses. Attendees also connected with industry peers to learn firsthand how others are leveraging Trimble solutions to achieve transformational results.
A highlight of the event was the construction offsite at Sirromet Winery in Queensland, where participants watched live demonstrations of Trimble machine control solutions, showcasing the ability to boost efficiency and sustainability in earthmoving, milling, drilling and piling operations. The expo also featured hands-on demonstrations of Trimble survey and mapping tools, tailored for survey and land development applications.
Additionally, attendees explored Trimble software applications and how they connect office and field teams – enabling real-time data sharing and empowering business leaders to make fast, informed project decisions.

• Trimble launching its B2W Estimate software solution for contractors in Australia and New Zealand: Widely used across North America, B2W Estimate is a powerful solution for heavy civil construction estimating, enabling faster, more accurate bids through centralized cost data, templates and cost structures.
Advanced bid analysis and reporting tools further enhance estimating strategy and precision. B2W Estimate is now available through BuildingPoint, a Trimble authorised dealer in Australia and New Zealand, which provides implementation, training and technical support for B2W Estimate, as well as for other Trimble hardware and software solutions for construction, engineering and architecture in the region.
• The evolution of Jobpac: Jobpac Connect offers new features designed to enhance field productivity for contractors. For example, the newly launched Jobpac Mobile app allows real-time labour costing, accurate payroll data and full visibility across multiple jobs.
Jobpac’s role-based dashboards offer efficiencies for payroll functions, AP and finance reporting, project management and PTA reconciliations.
Jobpac Connect also offers a two-way connection for Trimble Connect and the ability to migrate to Trimble ID immediately. Trimble unveiled upcoming Jobpac enhancements, including mobile approvals, PO requisitions, delivery dockets, productivity capture and more.
• Infrastructure construction: Multiple sessions addressed the importance of technology for delivering infrastructure construction projects on schedule and under budget.
From roads and bridges to tunnels and airports, attendees learned how Trimble solutions help connect and create efficiencies between all project stakeholders, from conception and design to completion and asset management.
