Pickles opens the largest dedicated industrial auction facility in New South Wales’ north coast and Hunter Valley region.
Pickles, Australia’s leading asset remarketing company, has recently opened a new site in Newcastle. Covering 20,000sqm, it will be the largest dedicated industrial auction facility in New South Wales’ north coast and Hunter Valley region.
Assets typically include ex-government and ex-lease trucks, trailers, agricultural equipment, earthmoving plant, light industrial equipment and caravans with hundreds of assets available every month.
The new premise is ideal to facilitate their monthly Truck, Machinery and Earthmoving Plant auctions, Heavy Motor Salvage, Recreational Auctions and fixed-price sales. It is conveniently located on the Pacific Highway, allowing easy access for customers, deliveries, unloading, pickups and has ample off street parking.
As Pickles continues to build trusted marketplaces both physically and digitally, their commitment to the best auction and fixed priced facilities remains the cornerstone of their success. Pickles’ investment in this facility will provide customers with a superior buying experience while ensuring vendors assets are presented in the best possible environment.
Asset List Continues To Grow
With 22 branches across 27 sites Australia-wide and an ever-increasing inventory list, Pickles is experiencing continued growth in all its dealings.
And, while their footprint grows so too does their client list with a number of high profile auctions rounding out 2018 including Aurizon, Hanchard Cranes and a Multi-Million Dollar Civil and Quarry Equipment Auction, all alongside the monthly industrial auctions.
On behalf of multiple vendors, Pickles conducted a Multi-Million Dollar Civil and Quarry Equipment Auction in late 2018 comprising hundreds of assets including crushers, screens, stackers, dozers, loaders, compactors, dump trucks, excavators and more.
With a strong understanding of the market and how to best dispose of the assets, Pickles held an onsite auction which was streamed live to capture a greater audience, and also best highlighted the assets in action as well as saving the vendor from moving. Digital advertisements were used to drive awareness and engagement. Emails were utilised and targeted to those who had expressed an interest in the asset types as well as a series of laser-targeted Facebook campaigns both promoting the auctions and highlighting unique assets.
The auction was a huge success with over 88% of assets sold on the day.
