In 2019, Pickles has delivered large scale auctions for a number of different vendors, achieving exceptional results, highlighting the team’s capabilities, and why Pickles is recognised as the leaders in their field.

Event Auction In NSW Delivers 100% Clearance For Antqip

In August, buyers flew in from around the country for the Antqip auction in NSW. The auction was unreserved and featured a wide range of quality gear from trucks and trailers, dozers, dump trucks and compactors, vehicles and workshop equipment. An outstanding success, it achieved a 100 per cent clearance rate and gross total sale of $2.2 million. Of note, a 2006 Cat D8T sold for $202,500.

Pickles received great praise from the vendor, who said: “On behalf of Antqip I just wanted to thank you and your team for the great effort over the last few weeks. The auction was professional and extremely well presented. It was an absolute pleasure working with the whole Pickles team.”

100% Clearance For A Large Multi-Vendor Sale In The Northern Territory

Earlier this year Fawcett Contracting, a well-known and well-respected family business in the NT, and Territoria Civil (owned by John Holland – one of Australia’s leading infrastructure and property companies), both took the decision to rationalise stock.

Pickles Industrial was engaged to provide an asset remarketing strategy to sell their surplus equipment, leveraging its national buyer base and experienced staff to maximise returns on all assets.

The result was the smooth running of a combined TRUCK, HAULAGE & CIVIL DISPERSAL auction in the Northern Territory, which achieved a 100% clearance. An extremely large sale, it grossed $5.8 million, selling a range of trucks and trailers and earthmoving and mobile plant assets; an excellent result for all parties involved.

WA Screening And Crushing Auction Reached A National Audience

In August 2019, Pickles ran a large sales campaign of late-model crushing and civil equipment on behalf of its vendor, selling a wide range of assets, jaw and cone crushers, screening plants, and ore sorters.

Through a sophisticated marketing approach, Pickles was able to reach a national audience, connecting assets located in regional WA to buyers all around the country through Pickles online auction system, PicklesLIVE, with gross sales exceeding $2 million.
