A new brand – Hidromek – and new crushing and screening services have led to amazing growth for this hire company.
Onetrak Rental is part of Onetrak – an Australian owned and operated company. Onetrak Rental was founded in 2016 – the same year as Onetrak celebrated its 10-year anniversary.
The rental division started out small in Melbourne with a fleet of mini and compact 5-14 tonne excavators.
Today the rental fleet focuses mainly on 14-50 tonne excavators, graders, wheel loaders, rollers, backhoe loaders, crushing and screening equipment and attachments. Onetrak Rental now operates in Victoria, Queensland, and New South Wales. The customer base ranges from smaller contractors to large tier 1 contractors.
Onetrak Rental has played a big part in launching a previously unknown brand in the Australian market. That brand is Hidromek and it is now popular among customers and recognised as a solid quality, high performing brand.
Onetrak Rental Manager Rhodes Cousland has been with the company for the full journey.
“Having Hidromek in the rental fleet has allowed customers to ‘try before they buy’ and has definitely allowed the brand to prove itself here in Australia. Many customers started with a Hidromek rental machine and have since proceeded to purchase a Hidromek for their business,” Rhodes says.
“We get a lot of repeat customers who are happy with the performance and quality of their Hidromek rental machines.”
“We expanded our rental fleet to Sydney last year and it has quickly grown on the back of the big projects our customers are involved in. The Onetrak Sydney team now includes Product Support, Service and Sales ensuring our customers receive great back-up support.”
Onetrak has always been strongly connected to the infrastructure segment but has in the last few years also expanded into crushing and screening with the addition of Striker and Anaconda equipment. This product range includes the crushers, screens, and conveyors. This has positioned Onetrak to better service quarry, recycling, and crushing and screening contractors as well.
Onetrak Rental’s core business is to provide high quality short- and long-term rental equipment, but it also offers customers the opportunity to take up Rent-To-Buy options that have many financial benefits.
The Onetrak Rental division is supported by the Onetrak national aftersales teams including Parts Interpreters and factory trained Service Technicians all with a commitment to exceed customer expectations. Onetrak is also highly committed to the safety of its staff, customers, and suppliers with ‘Mission Zero’ an internal safety program.
