Leading tiltrotator manufacturer engcon is exhibiting at the National Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo (DD&T) for the third time in 2023. Shayne Jessiman, General Manager at engcon Australia, tells EEM what visitors can expect.
With coverage in every continent, engcon’s global presence is constantly expanding. For the past three years, engcon has provided Australian customers with tiltrotators and quick couplers from its facility in Western Sydney, backed up by technical sales support staff, administration offices, warehouses, spare parts, and service.
The rapidly expanding Australian market has become increasingly important for engcon, with its network now extending across all states.
engcon’s establishment in Australia has shown good results with a growing customer base and numerous new employees – a sign of how popular the tiltrotator has become in Australia the past couple of years.
“Starting an office in Australia was the right decision as we already had a broad customer base in the country,” says Shayne Jessiman, General Manager at engcon Australia. “The fact that we have had the opportunity to introduce engcon and our innovative solutions to more customers has been incredibly fun.
According to Shayne, engcon’s previous participations at DD&T have all been successful. In 2021, he says, the engcon stand attracted a large number of visitors, and engcon was also awarded the prize for “Most innovative product 2021”.
“Exhibitions are an important channel for us,” Shayne says. “We get the opportunity to meet our customers in person, showcase our wide product range and share knowledge about a topic close to our hearts.”
Comprehensive solutions
Visitors at the engcon stand will be able to explore engcon’s innovative and resource-efficient tiltrotator solutions, along with a range of accompanying tools and attachments – all designed to keep the end user’s needs and safety in focus.
In the tent, EC-Oil – engcon’s highly appreciated and well-known system for hydraulic and electrical connection of hydraulic tools and attachments – will be presented. The system is specially adapted for engcon’s series of tiltrotators, offering a complete solution for everything from control systems, to hitches and tools.
EC-Oil means that hydraulics, electrical and central lubrication are connected automatically while the operator is comfortably seated in the cab, increasing both efficiency and safety.
“EC-Oil is one of our key products,” Shayne says. “The system enables the operator to connect his tiltrotator or other hydraulic tool without needing to go out and physically do it in person.
“The operator can easily connect, for example, the grapple, sweeper, or compactor in just a few seconds, which contributes to a safer, more flexible, and easier digging experience.”
Tools for every job
EC-Oil will not be the only thing on show during the exhibition. In addition to the tiltrotator, engcon will also bring a wide range of its high-quality excavator products.
“A large part of our customer satisfaction is based on the complete solution we offer our customers,” Shayne explains. “We not only offer the tiltrotors and the EC-Oil system, but also all the tools that may be needed for all different types of jobs.
“engcon’s products contribute not only to a more efficient business, but also a more profitable one. The close-knit solution streamlines excavation and construction work worldwide, and enables one person to handle the processes alone.”
Don’t miss the brand new EC206
engcon will also have sweep rollers, pallet forks, compactors, and more on display. The team will showcase the many improvements to the range, including for the EC206, where EC-Oil is becoming standard on both the top and bottom of the tiltrotator – allowing automatic connection of the tiltrotator and hydraulic tools under the attachment.
The new EC206 is also prepared for engcon’s grab and sweeper cassettes, and comes standard in Australia with tilt and rotation sensors for integration with machine guidance systems. Visitors will not only get to see these products in person, they will also be offered demonstrations of the tiltrotator and other products working together in action.
