LiuGong wheel loaders, which now make up a significant share of this market segment across multiple industries, look set to make a splash at DD&T 2023.
The emergence of the LiuGong equipment brand in Australian construction markets is set to shift up a gear, at the upcoming National Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo at Eastern Creek.
Jason Lyall, with the Australian distributor for LiuGong, said the Sydney event would mark the start of a number of metropolitan showcases for the growing brand.
He said many contractors already recognised the excellent affordability and performance of LiuGong machines.
“They are working hard for various contractors, clocking-up thousands of hours a year and they are not letting anyone down,” Jason said.
LiuGong wheel loaders, which are used across multiple industries, have been among the machines quickly embraced by operators around the country and now comprise a significant share of that market segment.
“They have been extremely popular with operators on the west coast and we are now seeing a strong uptake in the east. Anyone who gets in them, loves them,’’ Jason said.
“They are the best value wheel loader in the market by far.’’
He said contractors also could take confidence in the millions of dollars invested behind the brand in Australia, signalling the manufacturer’s strong intention in the marketplace for the long-term future.
“We have millions of dollars in parts on the shelf of distribution centres located around the country and a whole infrastructure with dealer network and team ready to assist customers.”
On display at Eastern Creek will be LiuGong excavators, including minis and the recently released zero swing and compact radius models, new ranges of electric machines just arriving in Australia, as well as the popular wheel loaders.
Limited swing excavators in the 13-15-tonne category represent one of the fastest growing equipment markets in the construction industry and LiuGong has the new 915FCR designed for this segment.
Operators worldwide have already commented on the amount of power this machine has and how comfortable the cabin is.
Jason said with a Stage V Cummins engine without EGR and highly spec’d standard configuration, including 360-degree cameras for added safety, the 915FCR provided an automotive experience for operators with quietness and exceptional comfort.
LiuGong’s new 9017F ZTS, zero swing excavator will be unveiled at the Expo, demonstrating its effectiveness for access limited sites. This model now complements the 9027F ZTS which has already shown a strong uptake within a short period of time in the market. The zero tail swing models are ideal for enclosed areas and where access is at a premium.
“The compact design of the 9017F ZTS, along with the already released 9027F ZTS, is exactly what Australian customers demand and we are very excited to bring these models to market. By the end of 2023 we will have a full suite of zero swing excavators up to five tonnes,” Jason said.
He said the 9017F ZTS featured internationally sourced premium componentry, load sensing hydraulics, a quiet, fuel efficient stage V engine and a spacious cab.
Anticipation is building around LiuGong’s new electric machines that already are in full production and it will be answered at the Expo. Two machines expected to be put under the spotlight include a mini excavator and wheel loader.
The completely electric machines of course provide zero emissions along with significant running and fuel cost savings.
