LiuGong’s new 848H wheel loader has been tailored for the Australian market, bringing with it, over 60 years of LiuGong technology and innovation.
The 848H marks the start of a new era at LiuGong and introduces a new level of productivity and serviceability to the Australian market.
The 848H has much more to offer than high power and great productivity. In terms of efficiency and fuel consumption, it integrates the strongest technologies, including a power shift transmission and advanced load-sensing hydraulic system, allowing you to be far more productive.
Powered by a 175hp Cummins engine and offering improved torque and efficiency from previous models, the 848H has a redesigned Z-bar and bucket that gives you the maximum production on the job site. The newly designed Z-bar has been optimised for improved distribution of stress. Key components such as hinge pins and lift arms mounting plates are made from optimised materials, which have gone through a special heat treatment process for increased strength.
This fully optioned machine includes a 3m³ bucket, auto greasing, radial tyres, quick hitch, ride control, air seat, and air conditioning all as standard features.
Modern ZF technology is applied in the driveline system along with the axle housing and main transmission system being reinforced to improve strength and load capacity.
The transmission works efficiently with the machine to achieve an optimal power output and an automatic shift transmission with kick down function and electric proportional FNR (Forward-Neutral-Reverse) lever make operating more convenient, reducing operator fatigue.
Another key feature is the 848H’s cab design, which allows for improved visibility to the work tool and improves all-around visibility for safety. Frequently used controls are placed within easy reach of the operator and curved glass in the cab decreases sound levels. It also has a constant temperature function that adjusts the temperature automatically.
Maintenance of the 848H is simple and convenient. It adopts a ground maintenance idea, which means that users can accomplish the replacement and checks of various filters and fuels by standing on the ground without climbing up and down.
The forward tilting engine hood is equipped with an electric lifting device, which alleviates the need to manually open the engine hood, ultimately preventing any WH&S issues from occurring. This allows for ground level access to service points and increases the accessibility to components, thus reducing service times while increasing the machine’s availability to work.
The hydraulic driving fan motor can be reversed for cleaning, and the water and oil drains are placed together to ensure easier, faster maintenance and service of your 848H.
