Kobelco to exhibit their industry-leading minis at Civenex

(April 2015) – Next month Kobelco will be taking their sought after range of mini excavators to Civenex, NSW’s premier infrastructure expo.

Now in its 60th year, Civenex is a leading industry field day and a mainstay on the NSW infrastructure calendar.

Kobelco’s General Manager – Sales & Service, Doug McQuinn says he’s proud of Kobelco’s new mini excavator models and is looking forward to showing them to event visitors.

“We’ve worked hard to make our range the most fuel-efficient and safe mini excavators on the market so we’re really keen to share our latest and greatest with Civenex visitors,” Doug says.

Onsite will be the 1.7 tonne SK17-SR, the first of the 2.6 tonne SK25SR in Australia and the agile 1 tonne SK008. A key feature of this range is the Energy Conservation Mode (“S” Mode), allowing the machine to use up to 23% less fuel compared to its predecessors.

Kobelco’s larger mini excavators also boast Kobelco’s proprietary iNDr noise and dust reduction system making them ideal for use in public spaces.

Alongside the minis Kobelco will also have the SK500LC-9 on display.

While the machines are the main focus, equally as important is dealer and aftersales service, which is why Kobelco has invited its key New South Wales dealers to exhibit alongside them.

“We take a very collaborative approach to serving our customers. It’s great to get a Kobelco on site for a customer but it’s just not enough for us. We’re just as focused on our after sales service and dealership network which is why the teams from our four New South Wales dealerships will be with us so visitors will be able to ask questions and get the most comprehensive solutions for their business or project,” Doug says.

The four dealers accompanying Kobelco to Civenex are:

  • Sydney Trucks and Machinery (Sydney and surrounds)
  • South Coast Trucks and Machinery (Illawarra and ACT)
  • Gato Sales (Newcastle and Hunter Valley) and
  • Capital Construction Equipment (Albury and Riverina)

“Civenex is run by the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australia. It’s a not-for profit that has been supporting our industry and its interests for more than 100 years. Kobelco is proud to support the industry that supports our customers.”

Customers and dealers can visit Kobelco at their regular site; number 204 to see the latest gear and pick up a giveaway or two.

Civenex is on 20 and 21 May 2015 (60th anniversary) at Sydney Dragway, Ferrers Road, Eastern Creek, NSW.
