With the addition of Trimble to the John Deere SmartGrade portfolio, John Deere customers now have more options to access integrated grade control solutions. By enabling optionality through SmartGrade, John Deere customers can continue to choose John Deere as their iron of choice with the technology preference that best suits their needs.
Trimble field systems senior vice-president Ron Bisio said Trimble was committed to making it as easy as possible for civil construction contractors on job sites all over the world to benefit from the use of machine control technology, regardless of what type of heavy equipment they use.
“Our Connect & Scale strategy enables smarter operations across digital and physical domains. We are excited to team up with John Deere to advance this mission and better serve their customers’ preferred workflows,” he said.
Trimble technology, enabled through John Deere SmartGrade machines, will be available for purchase on select John Deere construction equipment models in the future.
