AWD Group have recently partnered with LiuGong Machinery Corporation for the distribution of Wheel Loaders, Excavators, Skid Steer Loaders & Forklifts in New South Wales, Queensland & Northern Territory and Wheel Loaders, Excavators & Skid Steer Loaders in Victoria.

Building on over 15 years of local experience supplying Dieci telehandlers to the Australian market, the AWD Group has set its sights on becoming one of Australia’s leading providers of capital equipment. Over the years they have built a strong and loyal customer base through an absolute focus on customer service, a commitment to supplying quality machines and the development of its national parts and service capability.

AWD Group Chairman Paul Jenkins explained, “we are very excited about this opportunity to bring world class products to Australia – we see this as an opportunity for the existing LiuGong customer base in Australia to receive increased parts and service support in the eastern states.”

‘This is also an opportunity for existing AWD Group customers to expand on their ownership and ensure they are able to get support from one service organisation”, and he adds “customers will be able to hire these machines as well as purchase them via Rough Terrain Plant Hire – who will be adding these machines to their fleet.”

LiuGong is a world class manufacturer of construction and material handling equipment with a total of 24 manufacturing facilities worldwide, manufacturing 15 product lines and employing nearly 10,000 people.

In 2014, LiuGong invested more than US$ 66 million into its R&D program and have just recently opened a new research and development centre in their Liuzhou headquarters, where a team of over 1,000 engineers is focused on innovative, market leading product development projects. This strong commitment and heavy investment in research and development is evident in the finished product, they truly are, world class products.

The first LiuGong machines for the AWD Group are due to arrive in Australia in February 2016.
