Will Langley from Lismore has recently purchased a SharpGrade 2.2m unit with the Leica iCON 2D machine control system on-board.
Requiring a solution for grading and levelling pads, spreading aggregates and sand to any desired grade along with general grade work, Will chose the SharpGrade/Leica iCON 2D system with dual MLS720 Laser Receivers.
Will was impressed with the strength of the machine and how well it was built.

Will also had the opportunity to see the Co-Pilot function in the Leica iCON system installed and tested on his machine. It achieved the same smooth, fast passes but this time without the use of the Leica Rugby 880 dual grade laser. CoPilot enables the Leica system to reference the leveller’s blade position to maintain a high and cross slope automatically without the use of laser, or any 3D (GPS or Total station) reference.
All the operator must do is drive.
