Hoppt: Playing In The Dirt Since 2013

Hoppt

With plate compactors, rollers, utility equipment, and more, Hoppt is a seasoned Australian business.

“Moving into our fourth year in Australia we could be seen as being newbies in the market. However, taking a look at our people it quickly becomes apparent that we possess a huge amount of industry experience. More than 100 years in fact.

That’s right. The Hoppt team has combined 100 years’ experience selling equipment to the Australian civil, concreting and building industries. So if you’re thinking of buying a new machine give us a call to discuss your requirements as it’s more than likely that we can point you in the right direction.

Many of you would know Hoppt has been steadily expanding its range of compaction and concrete finishing equipment since commencing operations in Australia in 2013.

As this will be our first appearance at Diesel Dirt & Turf we will focus on compaction equipment for this article.

FORWARD PLATE COMPACTORS

Our range of forward plate compactors include a 66kg narrow plate, 73kg solid plate, 86kg box plate and a 95kg solid plate.

Recently, a new 87kg box plate design with a forward agitator was added to the range providing a solution for most applications.

All models are powered by GX HONDA four-stroke engines. Features vary from model to model and include folding handles, lifting hooks and wheels for easy manoeuvring.

PLATE COMPACTORS

There are now five reversible models ranging from 150kg to 400kg with three HONDA petrol powered units and two diesel powered models. These exceptionally robust machines cover a wide range of applications with the 400kg HATZ diesel machine featuring electric start.

RAMMERS

Upon close inspection it’s apparent the Hoppt engineers included clever and practical design features in their rammers resulting in well balanced, compact and efficient machines.

The current models evolved over the past 30 years being well balanced and powerful providing excellent compaction results.

Features include triple stage air filters, LCD tacho and a throttle lever, which incorporates a kill switch and a fuel cut-off switch for additional peace of mind. A lifting bar, hand grip on the base plate and wheels on the upper handle bar make handling, moving and transporting an easy task.

The RAM60C-H and RAM70C-H are HONDA powered while the RAM85DZ is HATZ diesel powered.

ROLLERS

Hoppt markets two ride-rollers and a 500kg walk behind. The DVR28 and DVR16 are based on the same design both being dual vibratory machines powered by KUBOTA diesel engines combining great design with European, French and US components resulting in highly reliable and cost effective machines suited to Australian conditions.

TERRAIN LOADER

If you are looking for a petrol powered wheelbarrow then the Terrain Loader is worth a close inspection. This simple and rugged machine has a payload of 345kg and a top speed of 6kph. Powered by the HONDA GX160 4-stroke with four forward and one reverse gear, this unit makes easy work of moving loose material around the site.”
