Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) connected with Tasmania’s agricultural and construction communities at Agfest, exhibiting a range of machinery solutions designed to support operators across agriculture, civil construction, and earthmoving industries.
Agfest is one of Tasmania’s largest rural events, attracting thousands of visitors annually and providing an important platform for industry engagement, innovation, and regional connection.
The HCA team welcomed attendees across the three-day event, held at Carrick’s Quercus Park in May, showcasing a selection of versatile machines, including the ZX17U-5 and ZX55U-5 mini excavators, the ZX135US-7H mid-size excavator, and the ZW140-7 and ZW250-7 wheel loaders.
The display highlighted HCA’s commitment to delivering equipment solutions suited to the needs of operators working across Tasmania’s agricultural and construction sectors.
The event provided an opportunity for customers and industry professionals to get up close with the machinery, speak with Hitachi representatives and explore equipment solutions tailored to their operations.

From compact machines ideal for tight-access projects through to larger loading and excavation equipment, the display reflected the breadth of Hitachi’s product offering and support capabilities across Australia.
Agfest also enabled HCA to strengthen relationships within the Tasmanian community, while reinforcing the importance of innovation, productivity, and dependable aftersales support in regional industries.
As part of the exhibition, visitors to the stand were invited to participate in a customer competition, further enhancing engagement throughout the event.
Looking ahead, HCA used the opportunity to continue building awareness around the company’s future transition to LANDCROS, with the business set to officially rebrand in April next year.
The transition represents a new chapter for the organisation, while HCA maintains the same commitment to customer support, equipment reliability, and solutions that customers across Australia have come to know and trust.
HCA continues to support customers nationwide through its branch network, delivering equipment, service, and technology solutions across construction, mining, agriculture, and infrastructure sectors.
