Hidromek HMK145LCSR

Hidromek’s new compact excavators were premiered last year at Intermat in Paris and the highly anticipated short radius model HMK145LCSR was first to arrive in Australia this year.

The HMK145LCSR is part of Hidromek’s new H4 Series excavators that combines power with operating speed for efficient and smooth operations. It weighs in at around 16.8 tonnes, which is slightly heavier than similar models on the market. This is due to the premium build quality of the machine and heavy duty, reinforced steel structural components. It features the Isuzu AR-4JJ1X engine, Kawasaki pumps, DA auxiliary piping, QH piping, dozer blade and GP bucket as standard equipment.

The HMK145LCSR’s climate controlled, air-conditioned cabin comes with a sliding fold-in front window, advanced colour TFT monitor with 8-inch display units and enhanced image quality for the rear-view camera, with integrated radio and USB MP3 player. The cabin also includes transparent cabin roof cover, cooled storage department and an adjustable suspension seat and excellent leg room, providing the operator with an exceptional operating experience and comfortable operating environment in all conditions.

Standard safety features include a rear-view camera, ROPS, handrails and safety glass windows as well as easy access for all daily and periodic service and maintenance including quick access to the hydraulic components. Its standard LED lighting package provides excellent visibility.

Last year the HMK145LCSR was awarded a Red Dot Design Award, which is one of the most prestigious international design awards and the machine is already receiving very positive feedback from Australian customers.

It was recently exhibited at a demo day at Onetrak in Bridgewater, 20 minutes north of Hobart in Tasmania. “The feedback from customers highlighted how smooth the machine functions with great break-out force, excellent build quality, comfort in cab and attention to detail,” said Clinton Dean, Onetrak Sales Manager (Tasmania). “We are very confident in these machines and are therefore offering customers a guaranteed trade-back program, free demos and flexible rental solutions such as rent-to-buy. This ensures that the customers get to try these machines and have confidence that it is the right machine before they commit to purchasing,” said David Hazell, Onetrak Managing Director.
