Queensland Cat® dealer Hastings Deering is set to continue its successful partnership with motorsport champion Harri Jones.
Jones punctuated a productive 2022 season as Porsche Carrera Cup Australia Champion, and will continue his association with Hastings Deering for the Australian one-make championship later this year.
Supported by Hastings Deering, Jones will return to Australia for two of the most iconic rounds of the season on the cards: the Bathurst 1000 and Gold Coast 500, where he will be driving under his own team, Jones Motorsport, for the first time.
The partnership between Hastings Deering and Harri Jones began in early 2022 and has proven to be a mutually beneficial alliance. With their shared commitment to excellence, innovation, and driving performance, the two entities have achieved success through this partnership.
“We are extremely proud to continue our partnership with Harri Jones,” said Jason Smith, Executive General Manager – Resource Industries of Hastings Deering. “Harri embodies the qualities and values that resonate deeply with our company. His commitment to excellence, tireless work ethic, and passion for motorsports align perfectly with our own dedication to delivering outstanding machinery solutions to our customers.”
Jones expressed his gratitude for the ongoing support from Hastings Deering.
“I’m so grateful for the continued support from my partners and their commitment to backing me through this next phase of my racing career,” he said.
“This year marks my second year partnering with Hastings Deering. They have really embraced the partnership across their teams.
“I’m so excited to be working with Hastings Deering again this year. They’re a Queensland-based company that love all things performance and machinery, and they have a really passionate team that believes strongly in backing local young talent like me.”
The partnership between Hastings Deering and Harri Jones extends beyond the racetrack. Both organisations share a deep commitment to the Queensland community. Through various initiatives, they aim to create a positive impact and inspire the next generation of motorsport enthusiasts.
As the collaboration moves forward, Hastings Deering and Harri Jones are ready to conquer new horizons, set new records, and solidify their positions as leaders in their respective industries.
“We are excited to witness his future successes and to support him on his journey to the top,” said Smith.
