Euro Auctions’ confirm date for next auction following successful Online timed auction. Next Auction scheduled for Thursday 8th February 2018.
Euro auctions have today confirmed the date for their next physical machinery and equipment auction at their Pinkenba, Brisbane, Queensland site as Thursday 8th February 2018. This comes hot on the heels of the first Brisbane timed auction which finished on Jan 5th 2018. Commenting Joe Rafferty, Euro Auctions’ Country Manager for Australia states: “We are delighted with how our first Brisbane timed auction went.
As a first timed auction we limited the inventory to ensure all our processes worked, and I’m glad to report everything worked perfectly. Following this successful trail we expect to increase the inventory significantly in future timed auctions and hold these on a much more regular basis adding more choice for our buyers and sellers.”
Following a very positive 2017 where hammer totals almost doubled compared to 2016 Euro Auctions are gearing up to make 2018 an even better year. Rafferty continues “We are now planning for the next physical auction at our Brisbane site which is gearing up to be one of our biggest sales in recent years.
We are pleased with how 2017 went and expect 2018 to be even better. We now have more ways to buy and sell and have additional locations to support our Brisbane operation with the opening of our Dubai and Hong Kong sites.”
The success in 2017 and the addition of more auction sites is indicative of the increase in demand in the wider Asia- Pacific region and the return to growth of the construction, utilities and mining sectors in the domestic Australian market.
