Euro Auction, Brisbane, sale on 25th June, is attracting great interest, and still with time for consignors to enter equipment and machinery for sale.
Following the success of the last Euro Auctions sale in Brisbane in April, the live ‘on-line’ sale behind closed doors perfected by Euro Auctions globally, comes again to Brisbane on 25th June. And there is still time for consignors to register plant and machinery for sale.
Euro Auctions, Brisbane, part of the worldwide global auction network, will host a ‘closed doors’ online sale on 25th June, observing the requirements for social distancing and segregation during the Covid-19 pandemic. This much-anticipated sale will help consignors to convert ‘iron into cash’ raising capital for their businesses.
The Covid-19 formula adopted by Euro Auctions entails running an ‘on-line’ auction, behind closed doors, with video clips of all lots for sale running on the Euro Auctions online sales platform, with the sale conducted in ‘real time’ by a team of ‘live’ auctioneers operating from the Euro Auctions HQ in Ohio, USA. This format has successfully been used at sales in the UK, Germany, USA, Dubai, Portugal and the USA. With the global Euro Auctions network and the IT teams in the UK managing the new online bidding platform, the June sale will attract an international audience.
Craig Hart, Euro Auctions Territory Manager for Queensland comments on the new trend adopted by Euro Auctions, “Over the last couple of years we have got to know our customers really well and they have put their trust in us to provide a good selling environment where they can sell their equipment and machinery at decent prices. In the current climate it is even more imperative for consignors to be able to sell stock, as it generates cash for their businesses. Hence our decision to continue with all our sales, with Brisbane, no exception.
“Bidders and Buyers
At the April sale, bidding was strong, with buyers from 30 countries registered to bid during the sale, showing the interest in this opportunity to procure good equipment. But, when the hammer was down, the successful buyers came from just four countries: Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, and the UK.
Buyers from Oceania equated to 93% of all successful bids. 70% of all bidders were new first-time registrations, showing how the popularity of the Euro Auctions sales have become, with 25% of first time bidders successfully buying kit on the day. For the sale in June, a similar international audience is anticipated.
Hart concludes, “Buying from Euro Auctions is a straightforward easy process. We operate unreserved public auctions, meaning all lots are sold on the day to the highest bidder. There are no minimum bids; no reserve prices and no buy backs. By signing up for a free bidding account, you and search and save your searches, adding items to a watchlist and leave pre-bids. When you have found the item you want, you can bid at this sale in one of two ways: Online – using our secure bidding platform. Pre-bid – leave a bid in advance of an auction.”
