Epiroc pulveriser gets performance boost

Epiroc has released its latest innovation, the DP1820-PB Demolition Pulveriser with a performance booster.

The performance booster is a new addition to the model, which also offers the option of Epiroc’s patented HATCON (Hydraulic Attachment Tools Connectivity) tracking/ sensor system, alongside a variety of much- loved existing features.

These include a compact integrated speed valve for faster cycle times, 360-degree hydraulic rotation for optimal positioning and precise handling, replaceable and reversible cutting blades, and a wear plate fixing system, making it quicker and easier to change on site.

The performance booster enables users to enjoy 20 per cent higher crushing force and 25 per cent shorter cycle times, equating to reduced fuel consumption and greater productivity: good for the environment and even better for saving on money and time.

The HATCON tracking/sensor enables owners to track the location of their Pulveriser, as well as functions that record hours run, service intervals, and more. All of these can be viewed via a computer or phone app.

Operators also have the option of fitting a genuine OEM built and designed water spraying system, for cases where dust is an issue.

DP units are suited for the use of primary and secondary demolition of concrete structures, separation of concrete from steel reinforcement bars, pulverising material, and recycling yards.

The performance booster can be supplied complete on any new DP1820, or an upgrade kit can be ordered for existing machines.

Epiroc, renowned for its German-quality products, distributes the Pulveriser range through a dedicated dealer network in Australia and New Zealand.
