“The support to date has been overwhelming. Companies such as CJD Equipment, jumped on board straight away, and just asked how they could help. People genuinely care and we are on our way to raising money for a such needed cause and helping break the stigma in the construction industry. Build Socialcon are manging the socials for the event and the support has been fantastic. We have individuals and companies reaching out with monetary support, marketing support and on the day help. We definietly set ourselves a mammoth task but there is no shortage of support, people really care about the cause and want to be involved. The statistics in our industry aren’t great and together with charities such as Beyond Blue we can help change that,” commented Boutaina Richardson from Build Socialcon.
The Dig Deep Event committee comprises of a passionate team from CRE Group, Build Socialcon, and Cross the T legal, working within the civil construction industry. They have set their sights on raising $1 million for Beyond Blue to assist their ongoing provision of much-needed support services, programs, research, advocacy, and communication activities.
For the goal to be achieved support is needed and whilst they appreciate that this is a challenging time for many, working together to support Beyond Blue so that they can continue to provide vitally important support services, may just provide the lifeline to those who are in real need and where life has become insurmountable.
