Digga bucket: A leap forward in performance and durability

The well-known Digga 4-in-1 bucket has undergone a significant transformation, marked by an extensive re-engineering and field-testing process.

Leveraging decades of bucket manufacturing experience and attentive consideration of customer feedback, Digga is proud to release a cutting-edge product which is second to none: the all-new X-Series bucket for large platform skid steer loaders.

It stands as a testament to Digga’s unwavering commitment to innovation, quality and customer satisfaction.

The X-Series bucket underwent a complete top to bottom design overhaul which has resulted in increased strength, performance and serviceability.

Digga product manager Anthony Wieckmann said the cornerstone of the new design started with a total rethink of a 4-in-1 bucket’s geometry.

“The redesign allowed us to increase the bucket’s dump and rollback angles, improve cylinder performance and better protect hydraulic components,” he said.

“By repositioning the cylinders, it gave us several advantages including minimising dirt buildup reducing the risk of damage, increasing the bucket opening width and optimising the full power of the cylinder which improves clamping force, grappling and general material handling.

“Coupled with increased cylinder size and improved jaw design resulting in outstanding control across various material applications, the X-Series bucket is one strong beast”.

Built to last

Improved hydraulic hose and valves placement at the rear of the bucket ensures prolonged durability, safeguarding against challenging environmental conditions, while conveniently  accessible counter-sunk grease nipples on all pivot pins, as well as strategically placed side cutouts, ensures maintenance is streamlined for ease and efficiency.

The cutouts double as convenient tie-down points, further enhancing functionality and practicality.

The bucket tackles construction, landscaping, or material handling projects with ease.

The X-Series also sees an upgraded clevis design, engineered to deliver enhanced strength and durability, ensuring reliability and longevity even under the most demanding conditions.

The X-Series introduces an enhanced, stronger integrated “clear view” guard, which not only provides increased strength and great visibility of the front edge but also serves as a visual indicator of ground level enhancing  operator efficiency and productivity.
“We’re proud of the bucket we’ve designed, not only does it perform better, but it’s stronger, and it looks absolutely awesome,” Anthony said.

“Our engineering team have nailed it. Customers who tested it, didn’t want to give it back.”

The X-Series bucket isn’t just a bucket; it’s the culmination of thousands of engineering hours, many hundreds of hours testing and endless amounts of feedback.

Whether you’re tackling construction projects, landscaping, or material handling, trust the X-Series to deliver unmatched performance and durability.

The X Series bucket is the next evolution in bucket design.
