The Digga Australia Group has acquired McCormack Industries, a leading name in Australian manufacturing.
The significant milestone marks a new chapter in their commitment to delivering quality, Australian-made products across all their brands.
McCormack Industries, widely recognised as ‘The Front-End Loader People,’ has been a cornerstone of Australian manufacturing since 1984.
Located in Aubigny on the Queensland Darling Downs, it has grown from a small family-owned business into an industry leader focused on manufacturing quality and reliable agricultural and industrial attachments.
The move is a strategic alignment of shared values and goals. Both brands are second generation family owned businesses with an unwavering dedication to Australian manufacturing over their 40+ year history.
McCormack Industries products will continue to be manufactured out of their Aubigny factory with previous owner Brendan McCormack and his team staying on to continue to grow the brand.
McCormack Industries and Digga Australia sales will run independently from one another, ensuring that it’s business as usual for both parties.
Digga Group CEO Zoe Conde said the company viewed the acquisition as a perfect fit for the business, as it was an avid supporter of Australian manufacturing.
“McCormack Industries has built a strong brand in the agricultural and industrial attachments space, which is an area of products that Digga hasn’t had a strong focus on historically,” she said.
“With the addition of being a family owned and operated business with a 40 year history, we can relate to a number of the highs and lows that both businesses have faced over that period. We are excited to continue the McCormack legacy with the backing of the whole Digga Group”.
