Dig the Miller product showcase

The team at Miller Australia is geared up to showcase its array of hitches and buckets – designed to deliver superior performance in modern Australian site conditions – at this year’s Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo.

As one of the largest earthmoving attachment suppliers across the globe, Miller will be building on its success of last year’s event, at which its aptly named Ready to Dig bundles were launched.

Described as ‘gamechangers’, holding ‘everything you could possibly need for digging projects’ by end users, the bundles include a set of work tools designed to help dealers get their customers ready to dig.

The set – suitable for 1-9t excavators – comprising popular earthmoving attachments, often used together, includes a hydraulic quick hitch, one mud bucket, two general purpose buckets and a high impact ripper.

Miller Australia General Manager David Aldridge said the business was overwhelmed by the reaction to the ready-to-dig bundles at last year’s DDT and plan to showcase these again this year.

“After the show, we had a surge of demand for the bundles and they continue to fly off our shelves, which we are constantly replenishing to fulfil demand,” he said.

“The beauty with the attachment bundles is they deliver cost savings when bought together.

“Essentially with every bundle, you get a free general purpose with each set, whilst allowing customers to save time sourcing individual products. Neatly packed for convenience, with everything being on one pallet on most occasions, the bundles are very easy to store, offering a convenient solution for dealers.”

At the show, Miller will also be showcasing its popular Australian built tilt hitch, suitable for 1-6t excavators.

Known as the GTT, the hydraulic tilting hitch is designed with a low-profile minimising the loss of break-out force and is fully cast using high tensile strength steel.

Backed up by a robust internal testing programme, Miller’s hitches have endured rigorous FEA and testing of up to 150,000 cycles prior to launch, ensuring the products will continue to deliver superior performance in even the most arduous conditions.

“Our GTT range – which utilises technology already proven in the field worldwide – has been extensively tested,” David said.

“And as far as I’m aware, no other product of its kind has been tested to such extreme standards.”

To complement its GTT, Miller will be showcasing its other fully hydraulic hitches from its GT series, including the GTS, designed for 1-6t excavators and the GTX ideal for 8-50t machines.

Fully compliant with AS13031 standards, Miller’s GT series houses a unique twin-locking independent back-up system enabling a wide set of OEM pin pickups to be safely attached.

Easy to install, the GTS and GTX hitches are built with only four components – meaning less can go wrong – and require very little maintenance.

Miller will also be demonstrating a range of its buckets, including tilt, mud and general purpose.

Proven to last, the company’s bucket range has been specifically designed to deliver superior performance when operating with modern Australian practices and site conditions.

With manufacturing headquarters in Melbourne, Miller has recently expanded its facilities, opening a second premises in this location.

Over the last 12 months, the company has been highly focused on increasing its geographical presence across Australia.

As part of this, Miller has increased its aftermarket capabilities – delivered by experienced technicians – to provide full peace of mind to customers, which is further backed up by Miller’s industry leading warranty on products.

Miller will be located at site E6 at DDT.
