The 2022 Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo annual charity golf day is being held on Friday 25th February 2022 at the championship Twin Creeks Golf and Country Club at Luddenham to fundraise for a worthy cause.
The National Diesel Dirt &Turf Expo is where the earthmoving equipment industry gathers every year to exhibit the latest and greatest in machinery, technology, and services. Over the years, members of the industry have demonstrated how much they enjoy the opportunity to network and build relationships through this event.
Stories abound where people and businesses are always ready to lend a helping hand. The desire of the industry to contribute to the community is clearly shown at the annual Diesel Dirt & Turf golf day where fundraising proceeds are raised for worthy community charities and organisations.
SUPPORTING THE DISADVANTAGED
The 2022 golf day has nominated the Mama Lana’s Community Foundation, a wholly not-for-profit organisation. The foundation is dedicated to helping the often forgotten homeless and underprivileged people in the Greater Penrith region.
The aim of the foundation is to advance the wellbeing and prospects for people as a way to their future independence. The foundation offers hot meals six nights a week, supplies food and toiletry packs, as well as providing clothing, sleeping bags, swags, and blankets.
Founding director Lana Borg said,” we are thrilled to be chosen as the beneficiary of this year’s event!
“As a wholly not-for-profit charity, we receive no ongoing government funding and rely heavily on the support of private donors. To have this fundraising opportunity to enable our service to continue providing essential services to our local community is just amazing.
“During the COVID pandemic, we have seen an increase in the number of people needing assistance with food and basic necessities, so this fundraising will assist us greatly in continuing to support the homeless and disadvantaged in the Nepean area with meals, pantry items, toiletries and other basic needs.”
TOP GOLF VENUE
The 2022 Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo annual charity golf day is being held on Friday 25th February 2022 at the championship Twin Creeks Golf and Country Club at Luddenham. This popular event will kick off with a 6.30 am breakfast, followed by a putting competition and then on to the main event.
The day features lots of big prizes on the course, however the most popular event is the Pickles auction of fantastic items donated by members of the industry, businesses, associates, and others wishing to contribute to the needs of the community.

This National Expo continues to attract more than 200 exhibitors and large numbers of visitors associated with the earthmoving industry.
The dates for the 2022 National Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo are Friday 8th April to Sunday 10th April at the Sydney Dragway, Ferrers Road, Eastern Creek, New South Wales.
