There’s always plenty of attractions to keep visitors entertained while visiting the hundreds of exhibits at the National Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo.
This year, there is even more excitement for the 2018 Expo.
FREESTYLE KINGS
Freestyle Kings are back again and will be performing 12 shows over the three days. Thrill to the sounds and sights of these crazy but skilled riders doing record breaking stunts.
LITTLE BIG RIGS
Kids of all ages are fascinated by Little Big Rigs. These tiny, yet fully working and faithfully reproduced model trucks, excavators and other earthmoving equipment are guaranteed to entertain for hours.
This year, there’s a bigger fleet being shown, so if your kids are into digging the dirt, then this is the place to be!
MACHINERY DEMONSTRATION AREA
What better way to decide on what machine is right for your business than to jump into the cabin of some of the latest models? Visit the demonstration area to check out excavators, directional drills, wheel loaders, compact track loaders and more. This large area replicates the conditions found in typical construction or earthworks sites, so you can see how the machines perform on the job.
LIVE MOWING AREA
This year, there will be a selection of mowers on 500 square metres of grassed area for visitors to ‘test-drive’. This is a great opportunity to compare the performance of ride-on and self-propelled mowers of all brands and sizes.
HARLEY-DAVIDSON
If you are into classic motorbikes Harley-Davidson is showing some of its latest models. They will also have a working Dyno Tuner to demonstrate how dyno tuning can help you get the optimum performance from your bike.
ROCKY RIVER MINING
Rocky River Mining is a great attraction where participants can pan for gemstones and minerals. It’s good old-fashioned fun where kids can get their hands dirty. It’s run in a great display resembling an old mining town with many old tools of the trade on display. A small is made for those wishing to participate in the mining experience.
ROCK ‘N DOLL FACE
When you’re a kid, it’s hard to resist a great face painting job. Our face painter Rock ‘n Doll Face was a real hit in the last two years, with queues waiting for a stunning professional face decoration job. It’s a great way to give them some fun, while you have a chance to rest your feet in the process!
TRAFFIC AND HIGHWAY PATROL
The New South Wales Police Force – Traffic and Highway Patrol Command will be running a display and educational site designed to boost awareness of road safety issues, particularly in relation to road transport of heavy equipment, trucks and trailers. Police representatives will let visitors have a close look at some of the latest in-car technology that helps make our roads safer for all.
PORTER EQUIPMENT AND SEMCO
Porter Equipment and Semco will be running the popular Operators Challenge where machine operators can prove their skills by completing a range of time and skill trials. There is a $5000 voucher from Norm Engineering for the winner of the skid steer challenge and a $5000 voucher from Calibre for the winner of the excavator challenge. There’s also $8000 from Semco and $8000 from Porter Equipment. In all, there’s a total of $26,000 in prize money!
ENTERTAINMENT
When visitors are taking a break in the shade, they will be entertained daily by musicians from Ebony and Ivory who bring a smooth sound that will not leave your ear’s ringing and your customers complaining.
Although recently formed (2007) as classic covers show “Ebony & Ivory Entertainment”, singer Jesse Suitupe and guitarist Saul Santilli have been performing together for over 19 years. To name a few, their most obvious influences include Stevie Wonder, LRB, Earth Wind & Fire, John Farnham, Tommy Emmanuel, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Toto, Luther Vandross and Michael Jackson.
