As the supplier of choice across a wide range of Australia’s largest industries, ENZED boasts extensive experience and a strong record of delivering high quality products and services including flexible hose, fittings and adaptors for all hydraulic, pneumatic and industrial machinery.
And it’s not just hose and fittings: many ENZED sites also offer a broad range of complementary services, including:
• Hose testing

• Cylinder service and overhaul
ENZED’s fundamental focus is to reduce customers’ plant and machinery downtime by taking hose and connector repair solutions to its customers.
For over 50 years, the company has saved their customers millions of dollars and hours in downtime.
Its capability is more than technical know- how and product solutions: it encompasses accreditation, scale, experience, distribution and the dedication of the ENZED network of brick and mortar franchised Service Centres and mobile 24/7 Hose Doctors.
ENZED origins
It’s no false claim to say that the history of hose and fittings literally began with ENZED.
The business commenced operation in New Zealand in 1972 with a vision to develop comprehensively equipped hose distribution channels for all industry sectors.
ENZED saw an opportunity to reshape the hose and connector replacement industry by providing a much-needed service via Service Centres and mobile Hose Doctors that could develop any replacement hose assemblies quickly and reliably onsite.
In 1981, ENZED expanded operations into the Australian market, focusing on unparalleled service and quality. This intuitive response to customers’ needs saw the business continue to grow across Australia and New Zealand and in June 1989 ENZED was acquired by industry leader Parker Hannifin.
As a global leader in motion and control technologies, with more than 100 years of engineering excellence in a wide range of diversified industrial and aerospace markets, Parker had acquired the engineering expertise and a broad range of core technologies that helped uniquely position the company to help solve the world’s most significant engineering challenges.
In fact, Parker designed the Global Core range, consisting of six hydraulic hoses and two fittings series, which provided the first comprehensive hose and fitting system that encompasses the most common constant working pressure classes. These are available exclusively through Parker distribution and ENZED.
Since the acquisition, ENZED has gone from strength to strength and today remains a leading supplier, installer and repairer of hydraulic hoses and connectors.
ENZED everywhere
As one of the largest hose and fitting providers in Australasia, no matter where customers are, or what industry they’re in, ENZED is there.
It does this via the extensive on-the-road Hose Doctor network on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week and support from the local ENZED Service Centre.
Hose Doctors provide services akin to mechanical house calls, providing onsite maintenance as well as emergency call-out services, helping to maintain plant and equipment efficiently and always at the ready to service and replace all types of industrial and hydraulic hose and fittings.
Arriving with a fully stocked vehicle equipped to assemble and replace hoses and fittings onsite, they offer on the spot solutions and faster repair times.
Highly regarded within the industry, Hose Doctors are fully RTO accredited in hose and fitting replacement, ensuring quality work and trusted outcomes.
ENZED significantly reduces downtime while minimising unexpected equipment failures with preventative maintenance.
Technical delivery includes:
• Hose Doctors available 24/7, 365 days
• Tens of thousands of fluid connector items available through Parker Hannifin and a comprehensive local supply network
• On-site containers supplying hose and fitting manufacturing capabilities and consumables
• Provision of a Total Hose Management service
• Technical support
As part of the Parker group, ENZED also uses the Parker Tracking System, a proprietary solution that facilitates the tagging and tracking of hoses and parts.
A simple way to record, manage and retrieve critical asset information, PTS allows real-time access to data and enables reliability-centred maintenance – before critical failure.
This innovative system provides fast and accurate product information to allow the ordering of tagged products sight unseen, which reduces transaction time and improving productivity.
