Quick response times are paramount for emergency road repair and maintenance. The Broons eCombi tops the time sheets for being nimble to the job.

With highway rated tyres there is no need to float the roller – just drive to site, lower the hydraulically activated drum from the cabin of the grader or tow tractor and get to work.

Since its inception 10 years ago the eCombi roller has become the preferred maintenance grading roller in Australia with the diversity of both a smooth steel drum and multi-tyre configuration. The steel roll drum ‘locks in’ the angular pavement rubble by squeezing out those air voids while the smooth tread compaction tyres provide the perfect running surface to ensure maximum longevity from the pavement.

Ballasted up to 7.65 tonne, this versatile roller can be towed by either tractor or grader creating real flexibility. Considered by many to be an ‘economical’ alternative to the larger Broons Combination Roller, its gusseted heavy duty chassis means there is no compromise on strength. Broons guarantees all of their rollers with an industry leading 10 Year Structural Warranty.

Options abound with high tech electric/ hydraulic disc brakes, which include a back-up break away system to keep the WH&S officer happy. The offset hydraulic drawbar option moves the roller off centre of the tow vehicle, while solid filled tyres eliminate punctures and costly downtime.

For those who have a lightweight tractor and wish to use the eCombi for construction, a vibrating drum option is also available.
