Countdown to 2022 National Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo

April is a great time of the year and if you are into machinery and construction equipment, there is no better place to be than the National Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo at the Sydney Dragway.

Staged over three days from Friday, 8 April until Sunday, 10 April, visitors will be treated to the latest and greatest in earthmoving, excavation and public space maintenance equipment in Australia. There is something for all family: Little Big Rigs will keep the kids absolutely fascinated, while the thrilling Freestyle Kings motorbike team will entertain visitors throughout the Expo.

Getting around the whole Expo area will take time, so the organisers have made sure there are plenty of food and beverage offerings in the food court. If your feet get weary, there are many places to meet friends in the shade to share lunch.

There’s no doubt that construction andinfrastructure work is on the move throughout the country, so if you want to keep your business up to date with the latest in productivity tools, you certainly need to be at this Expo.

Product specialists will be on hand at exhibitors’ stands to give you useful advice and answer any questions you may have about how you can improve the bottom line of your business.

MAJOR INDUSTRY SPONSOR
Reflecting the status of this Expo, Komatsu Australia is once again the gold sponsor. Dean Gaedtke, executive general manager, construction at Komatsu said they are proud to be the Gold Sponsor of the National Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo for the second year running, with a major presence allowing Komatsu to fully engage with visitors.

“With a core focus on sustainability and technology, we are excited to be exhibiting our fully electric remote-controlled mini excavator prototype, unmatched in the world.

“Designed to lay the foundation for the commercialisation of fully electric construction equipment, the fully electric 3-tonne mini-excavator is based on Komatsu’s technological expertise in electric forklifts and mini excavators, and incorporates new technologies, such as lithium-ion batteries and electric cylinders.

“We will also be showcasing a range of construction equipment, including our Intelligent Machine Control models, as well as our Smart Construction technology solution, Komatsu iSite.

“Be sure to come and visit us at stand B1 and check out our demo area where you will have a chance to test drive some of our equipment,” Dean said.

Pickles Auctions is again staging its huge Saturday auction with hundreds of lots under the hammer to make sure you can pick up a bargain. This annual Saturday event is a major drawcard for the Expo and there is no better way to grab some great gear at the right price.

PROLUBE LUBRICANTS
Adding to the associate sponsors this year is Prolube Lubricants, which is wholly Australian owned and operated. This company was established in 1988 to formulate, blend and market a range of automotive, transport and earthmoving, industrial and agricultural lubricants and greases for the demands of the arduous Australian climatic and operational conditions.

Prolube Lubricants says its newly constructed state-of-the-art blending facility in Brisbane uses a revolutionary inline blending system that is widely recognised throughout the world as the most environmentally satisfactory method of blending quality lubricants.

Prolube’s manufacturing process uses high quality hydro treated Group 2, Group 3 and fully synthetic base oils with the latest technology additive chemistry and blends them to produce lubricants meeting the upper limits of the relevant specification range.

Gold media sponsor Earthmovers & Excavators Magazine and Trade Earthmovers have also recognised the huge importance of this major Expo.

Other sponsors include Norm Engineering, CreditOne, XCMG, Cappro Pacific, Yellow Cover, Truck Assist and Earthmoving Equipment Magazine.
