Construction Industry Is Uniting To Raise $1 Million For Beyond Blue At Dig Deep Event

The Dig Deep Event located in Keysborough, Melbourne scheduled for next year, will bring the industry together in support of Beyond Blue and the services they provide.

The construction event will provide entertainment for the whole family from a digger park, construction exhibitors from across Victoria, food trucks, and live music.

For the construction enthusiast the event will include a showcase of Australian and International earthmoving equipment and the latest construction technologies, while running a much anticipated operator challenge. The operator challenge is designed to test the skills of Victoria’s talented machinery operators. Operators from a number of Victoria’s best civil contracting companies will compete for an impressive grand prize, together with bragging rights as being the inaugural Dig Deep Event Champion!

The event will engage visitors with a broad range of earthmoving machinery and attachments, trucks, trailers, bikes, utility vehicles, earthworks tools, agricultural machinery, and mowing equipment, while seeing global brand names like CJD Equipment and Willams Adams.

Organisers of the Dig Deep Event have been busy behind the scenes organising support for the event from the construction industry’s biggest players, but the committee says opportunities to sponsor the event have not yet run out. The Dig Deep Event organisers encourage anyone interested in supporting the event to reach out.

Companies can become a gold or platinum sponsor of the event and have their brand attached to the construction event and all media communications surrounding the event. Companies are also welcome to sponsor an event area, take up an exhibitor space to share their wares, or simply provide financial support to the Dig Deep Event organisers as they plan and deliver the event. The purpose behind this year’s Dig Deep Event is to encourage to raise awareness of mental health in construction and encourage our friends, family and work mates to keep talking. Organisations like Beyond Blue provide vital support to people experiencing depression, anxiety and other mental health conditions and the Dig Deep Event aims to provide donations to assist with their much-needed support services, programs, research, advocacy, and communication activities, including those directed to construction workers.
