The Australian Government is planning on investing more than $100 billion over the next 10 years from 2019-20 in transport infrastructure across Australia, which also includes $23 billion for new projects and initiatives through the 2019-20 budget.

Some of the key road infrastructure projects planned include the M1 Motorway Extension to Raymond Tce (NSW), Newell Hwy (NSW), Western Hwy (VIC), Wellington Rd Duplication (VIC), Gateway Motorway – Bracken Ridge to Pine River (QLD), M1 Pacific Motorway Upgrade Program (QLD), Cairns Ring Road (QLD), Albany Ring Road (WA), Fremantle Traffic Bridge (WA) and the North-South Corridor (WA).
