This compact machine is only 1422mm wide (with bucket) and packed with power and more speed. Cab Innovations
The cab design focuses on operator comfort with a larger cab that provides extra headroom and overall space inside the machine. The operator is treated to an improved suspension seat and mounted ergonomic controls. The exhaust muffler is attached directly to the engine without a flex element to help reduce noise and vibration inside the cab.
A one piece seal offers best-in-class pressurisation (to keep out dirt and debris) and, uniquely on this size of loader, an air-conditioning option. Plus, the heating and cooling systems have been given larger capacity to offer better performance in extreme temperatures.
Increased Visibility
A unique cab-forward design positions the operator closer to the working area of the machine for unmatched visibility in all directions. The loader has the largest cab door opening on the market for easy entry and exit, improving visibility to the cutting edge of the bucket and the corners of an attachment. The operator can see the space around them and the machine more clearly for greater manoeuvrability and accuracy.
Window sizes and more glass increase the line of sight in tight spaces, with more visibility to the tracks and back of the machine. The larger top window makes it easier and more comfortable for the operator to see an attachment with the lift arms raised – an advantage when loading trucks or performing other tasks.
Improved Performance
The T450 features more horsepower, higher auxiliary pressures, lower ground pressure and increased travel speed when equipped with the optional two-speed drive system. The 61hp engine offers faster dump and rollback cycle times, paired with higher lift and tilt cylinder forces.
Hydraulic flow and engine horsepower are matched to the loader’s rated operating capacity, size and weight — producing a loader that can outperform higher-horsepower compact loaders. The hydraulic systems on M2-Series loaders have been designed for higher pressure – 3300 psi– which provides increased attachment performance.
