Receiving a Special Commendation for Innovation Award by IPWEA, the ShoulderMaster is set to revolutionise the way roads in Australia are repaired and guarantees to be the quickest and most cost effective solution to road repair. Designed and developed by NSW civil construction company Stabilcorp, the ShoulderMaster is the latest innovative answer for local government and contractors when it comes to road maintenance for less outlay.
ShoulderMaster is easily attached to a skid steer loader within minutes and offers hydraulic tilt functions. Peta Pinson, Managing Director, explains “ShoulderMaster allows for construction materials to be placed on grades ranging from 0% to +/- 5%. The attachment can lay either gravel or asphalt materials and has a heated screed plate specifically for asphalt use. The ShoulderMaster can lay widths between 0.5m up to 1.5m in one pass and is remotely controlled outside of the skid steer, giving the worker on foot a greater degree of safety whilst reducing the risk of injury when working with moving plant”. ShoulderMaster, the first Australian designed and manufactured skid steer paver attachment will be released to the Victorian market for the first time at ACE EXPO on stand B28.
