MB-R500, the all-round cutter head

The Jack of all trades that is master of ALL
MB Crusher launches the new mini excavator cutter head at Intermat.
Turn mini excavators and mini loaders into real milling machines. The brand new MB-R500 is the latest addition to the MB Crusher range and launched as a world premiere at Intermat in Paris.
It is easy to use and makes work on different sites simple, especially those that require precision.
The MB-R500 grinds particularly resistant and tough materials, such as fragmented rocks. But it can also work on soft materials, such as asphalt, and perform the excavation with extreme precision.
It digs the trenches necessary for pipe laying, it restores the banks of rivers and streams with speed and precision. The new MB-R500 simplifies excavation operations for the positioning of buildings support plinths, especially in areas where the subsoil is particularly resistant.
It works without difficulty in city centres where vibrations and noises must be contained. It can be used underwater and it is indispensable for road works because the MB-R500 cutter head makes it possible to perform excavations within a minimum size and recover material to reuse it. In this way it is no longer necessary to dispose of the asphalt crusts resulting from excavations.
THE MOST EQUIPPED
The MB-R500 is the smallest cutter head of the MB Crusher range. It weighs only 300kg and can be installed on mini and midi excavators from 3 to 12 tonnes, on skid steer loaders and backhoe loaders from3 to 8 tonnes.
Its powerful cutter head has a diameter of 500mm and grinds with extreme precision. Its drum can be replaced on site in less than an hour, without the need to take the unit to a specialised workshop. Like the other MB-R cutter models, it comes with a full or low set drum head kit, which allows you to change the number of peaks depending on the material to grind.
It is the most equipped MB cutter head; it really does everything. It is a Jack of all trades, but also master of all.
The cutter body rotation kit allows the operator to rotate the cutter directly from the cab, without stopping the trench excavation work.
The cutting depth adjustment kit makes grinding edges and levelling possible, thus squares and roads will be ready for laying new asphalt surface.
The nebuliser kit and the drum cover kit reduce dust emission and allows you to carry out jobs in enclosed spaces – working in galleries and tunnels becomes straightforward.
To preserve the machinery used, the MB-R500 can be equipped with the temperature reduction kit, which reduces the oil temperature during operation without altering the unit performance.
